"Health Carousel has a reputation in realizing the dream of aspiring nurses and is known for taking care of their employees' welfare, including their families. The fact that Health Carousel has this prestigious reputation made me feel confident that this is the best choice for me."What do you like most about working with our client? "The climate of the workplace is encouraging and they treat their workers with the utmost respect and justice which starts from the leaders and down. The workforce is rich in various cultures which makes me feel efficient and versatile in caring for patients."What do you like to do outside of work? "The demand for working in a hospital is high but in the facility that I work, there is a balance between work and life. During my free time, I love to go out with my wife, discover new things by traveling, and try diverse cultural cuisine."What do you love most about being an RN? "Being a nurse is not an easy task. Each day you deal with different problems, however, the opportunity in working with the healthcare team and being able to contribute to the recovery of each patient gives me satisfaction and fulfillment."What is your favorite American food? "The traditional American steak is my number one favorite! I never liked the idea of eating close to raw meat at first but once I tried it, it was amazing!"Tell us something unique about you! "Aside from Indiana, I have been to 4 other interesting states: Illinois, North Carolina, Wisconsin, and Nevada. I hopefully plan to visit more after the pandemic subsides. In the meantime, I have been maximizing my time at home by sharpening my hairdressing skills. My wife is my regular customer and the victim of my art."What's your favorite quote? "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

Joann is a Physical Therapist who is from the Philippines and is currently assigned in Michigan. She has been working in the healthcare field for 19 years and has been working with PassportUSA for over 3 years!

"There are a lot of agencies available in the Philippines but I chose Health Carousel because of the feedback that I got from different friends with different agencies. The thing that stuck with me the most is that Health Carousel doesn't cut corners. They want everything to be done authentically and legally, and for the good of all people. I share the same values and I never regretted that decision!"What do you like most about working with our client? "Moving to a different country with a totally different culture is a good challenge! I am part of a cooperative team. Our bosses have our backs and they go into the field themselves if we need more hands. We have open communication and we celebrate each other's success."What do you like to do outside of work? "My family loves the outdoors. We ice fish during the winter, Turkey hunt in the spring, fish for pike and walleye during the summer, and hunt small and big game in the fall. We also love to drive around and try different local restaurants. As long as we are together, we are happy."What do you love most about being a PT? "To be a Physical Therapist is everything. It is a job that will put food on my table, a career to be proud of, and it's a mission to bring your patient to their maximum physical and functional potential."What is your favorite American food? "I absolutely love ribs!"Tell us something unique about you! "I have a brother who lives in Texas with his wife who is a registered nurse. They are expecting their first child in February of next year. I have an aunt in New York and relatives and friends in California."What's your favorite quote? "God won't let you go this far to leave you now.
