International Nurse Nominated for Nurses' Daisy Award

The strengths of an international nurse are no secret to Health Carousel's PassportUSA team.

The feedback we've received from clients only reaffirm what we already know:  international nurses are some of the hardest working, most empathetic licensed medical professionals available to United States patients. In a country starved for more healthcare professionals, these people are making a tangible impact with impeccable bedside manner and attention to detail.A particular nurse of ours - Sharon, from the Philippines - was recently nominated for The Daisy Award. It's an acknowledgement for extraordinary nurses. The Daisy Foundation's website defines the award as follows:

The DAISY Award For Extraordinary Nurses (The DAISY Award) - to honor the super-human work nurses do for patients and families every day. In creating The DAISY Award, there were three elements we wanted to ensure our recognition program included:
  • A partnership with healthcare organizations to provide on-going recognition of the clinical skill and especially the compassion nurses provide to patients and families all year long
  • Flexibility so that The DAISY Award may be tailored to each hospital’s unique culture and values.
  • A turn-key program with The DAISY Foundation providing most everything you need to implement The DAISY Award.

We're happy to see our nurses getting the acknowledgement they deserve. Hopefully Sharon brings it home! And if your facility needs talent of this caliber, PassportUSA is the place for extraordinary medical talent.Follow @PassportUSA for more insight on INTERNATIONAL NURSING and for the latest industry news. PassportUSA is a program of the POEA-licensed Health Carousel Philippines and Health Carousel, LLC. Proud supporter of the American Association of International Healthcare Recruitment.
