Emmanuela is one of our wonderful RNs currently assigned in Nebraska. She is from the Philippines and has been in the healthcare field for 6 years and with PassportUSA for 2 years! Emmanuela was nominated for RN of the Month by her Nurse Manager: "Emma is a delight to interact with. She always wears a smile and greets people as if she is genuinely so excited to see them. Emma delivers compassionate care to her patients and their families. Her communication is always respectful. Emma works hard taking care of her patients and ensuring accuracy in her documentation. Emma has worked some challenging shifts due to both patient acuity and unforeseen staffing issues. Emma never complains. She has been a great addition to our nursing team and we are fortunate to have her."Learn a little more about PassportUSA's award-winning RN, Emmanuela,by reading her responses below! What drew you to Health Carousel? "Everyone has a different story to tell about why they chose Health Carousel. Mine is just so simple, Health Carousel's credibility is proven and tested through time. I never doubted that Health Carousel could help me achieve my goals and make my dreams come to reality."What do you like most about working with our client?"The people I work with. When you are working with nonjudgmental, understanding, caring colleagues who are very good with teamwork, everything will be fine. I love my team!"What do you like to do outside of work? "I'm a mother of two smart boys so if I'm not working, I'm spending most of my time with them especially with my youngest who has been diagnosed with speech delay. I'm helping him in every possible way a mother could, like doing my own research and preparing materials that I could use to help him. When my sons are in school, I binge watch Netflix, bake cookies, and spend time with friends of course. I maintain a work-life balance."What is your favorite American food?"Slow-roasted prime rib with au jus sauce. So mouth-watering delicious."What do you love most about being a RN?"When you are a nurse, you know every day whether you will touch a life or a life will touch yours. I've heard about this a long time ago, but never really fathomed the meaning until I became a nurse."Tell us something unique about you!"I know four languages: English, Tagalog, Cebuano, and average Spanish. Also, aside from being a RN, I'm a certified medical transcriptionist/editor, which I'm still practicing during my free time just to keep my skills going in that field. Lastly, I love reading. I'm a Kindle subscriber and I can actually read a 600-page e-book for 2 hours nonstop."If you are not a current PassportUSA employee, simply register with us today and we'll get your journey to the USA underway!
