Two PassportUSA Nurses Nominated for Daisy Award

Two PassportUSA nurses have been nominated for the Daisy Award, and one nurse won it!The Daisy Award(R) for Extraordinary Nurses (The DAISY Award)is given to honor the super-human work nurses do for patients and families every day.First, we're extremely proud to announce that our nurse Sita won the Daisy Award while on assignment at her hospital! Her hard work and attention to detail has earned her the award and we couldn't be happier for her.Opeyemi (Yemi for short), a nurse from Belize who is currentlynursing inTexas, was also nominated for hishospital's Daisy Award! Although he didn't win, being nominated for this award is a big deal. Yemi struggled when he first started working at the hospital butdidn't give up on himself. Instead he worked very hard and it has paid-off aftergetting the recognition he truly deserves. He started in the ICU department and was later transferred to the Med-Surg Unit where he excelled. These nurses are just another testament to how outstanding our international talent has been at their American facilities.
