Celebrating Excellence in Charlottesville, VA

On October 27, 2025, PassportUSA hosted an energizing healthcare professional engagement event in Charlottesville, Virginia, bringing together our incredible health professionals, and members of the support team for an evening of celebration and connection.

The event was attended by team members from across the Health Carousel International family, including International Employee Supervisors (IES) Maeve Maloney and Chloe Hassett, Manager of the IES Ashley Patterson, and Clara Kassner, the Director of IES. Special guests Marianne Nagera and Marwin Galvez from Health Carousel Philippines also joined, making it a truly collaborative and globally connected gathering.

High Energy, High Spirits

From the moment guests arrived, the atmosphere was filled with warmth and excitement. According to Maeve Maloney,

“It was such a great time celebrating our incredible healthcare professionals. From the games and prizes to the laughter and team spirit, the energy was amazing!”

With over an hour of laughter, connection, and community-building, the event allowed healthcare professionals to connect outside of work and take a break from their day-to-day responsibilities. These moments of joy help to reinforce the strength of the PassportUSA community, no matter where our professionals are currently placed.

A Favorite Feature: The Photo Booth

A highlight of the evening was the photo booth, which proved to be a hit once again. Attendees posed with coworkers, friends, and family, creating cherished memories that now serve as keepsakes of the night.

Chloe Hassett shared,

“The photo booth has been such a wonderful addition to these engagement events, and they’ve already captured so many great memories. The evening went by so quickly between the games and conversations, I wish I was able to take more photos to capture moments with our healthcare professionals.”

Even with the busy pace, the moments captured tell the story of a community full of laughter and support and the joy that comes from in-person connection.

This event was extra special thanks to the attendance of colleagues from Health Carousel Philippines, Marwin Galvez, President, and Marianne Nagera, Director of Processing and Deployment, who joined to meet the healthcare professionals whose journeys they’ve helped support from across the world. Their presence highlighted the strength of our global team and the continuity of care and commitment that starts long before a Filipino HCP arrives in the U.S.

Having representatives from both our U.S. and Philippines offices offered a well-rounded experience and reminded attendees that they are supported every step of the way from initial recruitment to thriving in their current assignments.
