November 2026 Visa Bulletin: EB-3 and EB-2 Updates for International Nurses

The November 2026 U.S. Visa Bulletin brings positive forward movement across several employment-based categories. EB-3 sees advancement for the rest of the world, Mexico, India, and China, while EB-2 brings a notable three-month advance for the Philippines, Mexico, and the rest of the world. For internationally educated nurses pursuing a U.S. nursing career, here are the most important updates.

November 2026 Visa Bulletin: EB-3 Updates

EB-3 China: January 22, 2022‍

EB-3 Rest of World (ROW): June 15, 2024

‍EB-3 Mexico: June 15, 2024

‍EB-3 Philippines: August 15, 2023

‍EB-3 India: January 22, 2014

The Rest of World and Mexico advanced by one month, India advanced by three weeks, and China advanced by two weeks. The Philippines remained unchanged.

What Do These Changes Mean?

If your priority date falls under China, India, Mexico, or Rest of World, this month’s forward movement may bring you one step closer to visa availability.

If your priority date falls under the Philippines, there was no change in November. While the category did not advance, it also did not move backward this month.

Every month’s Visa Bulletin should be viewed independently. Movement, or a lack of movement, does not necessarily predict what will happen in future months.

What Nurses Should Focus on Right Now

Whether your category advanced or remained unchanged, this is an excellent time to continue strengthening your readiness for U.S. nursing opportunities.

We recommend focusing on:

  • Maintaining and building recent bedside nursing experience
  • Completing licensing and credentialing requirements
  • Preparing required immigration and embassy documentation
  • Strengthening English communication skills
  • Preparing for interviews with U.S. healthcare employers

Being fully prepared allows you to move quickly when your priority date becomes current.
