Celebrating Our September 2026 Employee of the Month Winners

This September, Health Carousel International celebrates two healthcare professionals whose stories reflect dedication to their careers, continued growth, and a commitment to caring for others.

Faith M. and Crystal B. are Health Carousel International's September 2026 Employees of the Month.

Their experiences are different, but both nurses describe careers shaped by learning, adaptability, patient advocacy, and a determination to keep moving forward.

Faith M.

RN - North Carolina

Faith's journey began with a question about what the next chapter of her nursing career might look like.

As she explored opportunities to continue working beyond the retirement age she described in her home country, Faith began researching ways nurses could work in the United States. During that research, she compared different organizations before choosing Health Carousel International.

Faith says the guidance and support available throughout the journey were among the factors that drew her to Health Carousel International. Today, she is proud of the progress she's made.

Working as a nurse in the United States has brought new lessons with it. Faith emphasizes the importance of keeping up with developments in her profession, including technological changes, and being ready to learn throughout every stage of a career. She's also learned that adaptation matters.

From time management and advocating for patients to maintaining a positive mindset, being coachable, and working with people from different cultures, Faith sees continued effort and learning as essential to delivering the best care she can. She has also seen firsthand the value of perseverance and hard work.

For Faith, being named a Health Carousel International Employee of the Month is about more than an award. She says the recognition gives her additional motivation to continue moving forward, confidence when facing the challenges and exhaustion that can accompany patient care, and a sense that her contributions are being recognized.

Outside of work, Faith has embraced an impressive variety of foods while living in the United States. Some of her favorites include yellow corn, Buffalo wings, hash browns, tilapia fillets and fries, steak with baked potatoes, apple pie, pancakes, fruits, chocolates, and more.

Crystal B.

RN - North Carolina

For Crystal, the opportunity to grow professionally while working in different healthcare environments was part of what drew her to Health Carousel International.

She also valued the support and resources available to nurses, which she says helped make her transition feel welcoming and gave her confidence in her choice.

Throughout her career, Crystal has developed a perspective on nursing rooted in the human side of patient care. Her experiences have taught her to stay adaptable and continue learning. She also emphasizes advocating for patients and supporting coworkers, especially when the work becomes challenging.

For Crystal, those difficult days have reinforced another important lesson: the work healthcare professionals do matters. Being selected as a September 2026 Health Carousel International Employee of the Month carries special significance for her.

Crystal also expressed gratitude for being recognized for work she genuinely loves and for knowing that her contributions have an impact on her patients and team.

And after a long shift, she has a go-to comfort meal: a burger and fries.
