Introducing the Health Carousel Foundation: A Commitment to Global Nursing Sustainability, Nurse and Faculty Development, and Ethical Recruitment Practices

We are thrilled to announce the establishment of the Health Carousel Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to global nursing sustainability, nurse and faculty development, and ethical recruitment practices. At Health Carousel, we have been dedicated to the sustainability of the global nursing workforce since our founding in 2004. We believe that providing professional development opportunities and training for nurses, as well as leading in ethical healthcare professional recruitment globally, is vital to this mission.

The global healthcare workforce, particularly nursing, has been significantly impacted by the pandemic. In response, our 19-year commitment to the three pillars of our Lighting the Way initiative became more critical than ever. A fantastic team of individuals within Health Carousel and Health Carousel Philippines worked diligently over the year to ensure that the Lighting the Way pillars all stood proudly at the year’s end.

Based on its success over the year, Health Carousel executive leadership determined that the time was now to form a foundation. Thus, on December 12, they closed the year by incorporating and funding the Health Carousel Foundation.

The Light Way 2022 Impact Report showcases Health Carousel's commitment to global nursing sustainability, nurse and faculty development, and ethical recruitment practices. The report covers the company's Lighting the Way initiative and highlights the successes achieved over the year in each of the initiative's three pillars.
