#ThankfulThursdays posts celebrate the career and personal achievements of our healthcare professionals who have reached the end of their temp-to-perm assignments at their assigned PassportUSA client healthcare organizations.

PassportUSA is honored to have employed Faith, a registered nurse, who has now reached the end of her temp-to-perm assignment. While she was on assignment, Faith was able to save up enough money to purchase her family's dream home, which is just a short commute away from work. Additionally, they adopted a Siberian Husky named "Spirit" for his spirited nature. With their new home with its picturesque backyard for Spirit to roam around in, Faith's family is living the #AmericanDream!

"One hallmark of our successful integration to U.S. life here is living in our beautifully-built brick house. We are absolutely thrilled to own this property and Spirit so we can settle down in happiness."

Faith has numerous other awards and praise from her colleagues for living the work values of teamwork, integrity, diversity, excellence, and safety. In Faith's final annual performance review, her facility's Nurse Manager of Operations stated,

"Faith is an extremely professional and knowledgeable OR nurse and well-versed in eye surgery. She has integrated well onto our team and gets along well with everyone. Our surgeons and staff are very complimentary about her performance. She is flexible and helps out where needed and anticipates needs. Faith is a gem and we are lucky to have her."

Reflecting on Her Journey

"I brought my two children and my husband here with me to the USA. My teenagers were raised culturally as Filipinos, although we raised them in the UK prior to coming here. They have integrated well with U.S. life; they excel well in school and made plenty of friends. I'm glad they are able to succeed here in the USA with the support of friends from our neighborhood and local church."I highly recommend PassportUSA because my experience and the support I received was all positive and there was never a time when my questions were not answered. The benefits PassportUSA offers are at the highest level when compared with the best employer in the state. Thank you PassportUSA for matching me with this facility because they recognize hard work and they listen and care for their employees. I am forever grateful for this opportunity.I'd like to extend my full gratitude to these PassportUSA employees: Erica, who constantly followed up with me on all my immigration and licensing requirements, Kara, who helped me greatly and patiently with starting my professional and personal life here in the U.S., and Deirdre, who has been there for me through the end of my work assignment and for patiently answering my questions, and finally my facility and OR colleagues led by Candace. My colleagues have now not only become my coworkers, but they have become my work family. It is my honor and privilege to now be one of their employees and to carry out my nursing career with them."
