Hampton City Schools is a large and diverse school district with 29 elementary schools, 7 middle schools, and 4 high schools. Among the public schools are charter and magnet schools, as well as a school for the gifted. Special programs and the Hampton Academies ensure students have a wealth of educational opportunities.
