The rich arts and culture scene in Albany won’t fail to entertain anyone. Offering free admission every day, Albany Museum of Art is a must-visit for art lovers. The facility has an impressive collection of 19th-20th-century art from North American and Europe. Several galleries in the museum feature rotating exhibits of national and local artists. Harvest Moon is a local favorite for custom pizza pies such as the Purple Pie with eggplant and the Roasted Roaster with Applewood bacon. For good old fashioned Southern cooking, head to Pearly's Famous Country Cooking for some of their famous biscuit sandwiches, breakfast platters, and entrees. For BBQ and seafood, the perfect spot is Blackbeard's B & B Bar-B-Que, a rustic space known for its fried catfish, along with other seafood dishes, steak, and chicken.
