Richmond was the home of Gennett Records, a recording company that produced records of jazz legends like Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington. You can travel through this storied music history by walking down the Walk of Fame, large ceramic and bronze medallions decorated to look like records. Each record represents an artist and a nearby plaque displays their achievements. The Joseph Moore Museum of Natural History features an Egyptian mummy, fossils, a planetarium, and numerous artifacts to see. Spanning 3 ½ miles, Whitewater Gorge Trail offers a bird sanctuary, waterfall, vertical cliffs, historic bridge, quarries, and other natural sites to see along the way.
