One of the primary reasons most, if not all, PassportUSA clients choose to work with us is that historically a high number of PassportUSA nurses convert from their contract to a direct employee of their assigned healthcare facility. This high conversion rate alone is cause for celebration at a time when nurse turnover is 17-18% nationwide. But when a PassportUSA nurse reaches her 5-year milestone at her originally assigned facility AND elevates her professional expertise to nurse practitioner, it's time to pop open the champagne! Such is the case with Marylie, who began her PassportUSA journey in Arkansas in 2015, and just recently shared her success with us through our Alumni Network.[gallery size="medium" ids="eyJ1cmwiOiJodHRwczpcL1wvcGFzc3BvcnR1c2EuY29tXC93cC1jb250ZW50XC91cGxvYWRzXC8yMDIwXC8wNlwvT3JpZW50YXRpb24tTWF1cmVlbi1Hb2RlbGVpbmUtYW5kLU1hcnlsaWUtQnVja29za2ktQ2FiYWx1bmFsb2dvLmpwZyIsInRpdGxlIjoiT3JpZW50YXRpb24gLSBNYXVyZWVuIEdvZGVsZWluZSBhbmQgTWFyeWxpZSBCdWNrb3NraSAoQ2FiYWx1bmEpKGxvZ28pIiwiY2FwdGlvbiI6Ik1hcnlsaWUgYXMgYSBVU1JOIGluIDIwMTUiLCJhbHQiOiIiLCJkZXNjcmlwdGlvbiI6IiJ9,eyJ1cmwiOiJodHRwczpcL1wvcGFzc3BvcnR1c2EuY29tXC93cC1jb250ZW50XC91cGxvYWRzXC8yMDIwXC8wNlwvTWFyeWxpZS1CdWNrb3NraS1DYWJhbHVuYS0zLWxvZ28uanBnIiwidGl0bGUiOiJNYXJ5bGllIEJ1Y2tvc2tpIChDYWJhbHVuYSkgMyAobG9nbykiLCJjYXB0aW9uIjoiTWFyeWxpZSBhbmQgaGVyIGRhdWdodGVyIGF0IFdhbHQgRGlzbmV5IFdvcmxkIGluIE9ybGFuZG8sIEZsb3JpZGEiLCJhbHQiOiIiLCJkZXNjcmlwdGlvbiI6IiJ9,eyJ1cmwiOiJodHRwczpcL1wvcGFzc3BvcnR1c2EuY29tXC93cC1jb250ZW50XC91cGxvYWRzXC8yMDIwXC8wNlwvTWFyeWxpZS1CdWNrb3NraS1DYWJhbHVuYS0yLWxvZ28uanBnIiwidGl0bGUiOiJNYXJ5bGllIEJ1Y2tvc2tpIChDYWJhbHVuYSkgMiAobG9nbykiLCJjYXB0aW9uIjoiTWFyeWxpZSBpbiBIb2xseXdvb2QiLCJhbHQiOiIiLCJkZXNjcmlwdGlvbiI6IiJ9"]Marylie was an experienced RN from the Philippines who arrived in the US and continued to grow personally and professionally. While on her initial assignment her performance reviews from her clinical managers included phrases like "extremely compassionate," "willing to help in any way she can", and "valuable asset." It was clear from her reviews that she was a good fit and was destined to grow in her career. Now, five years into her US journey, and still working at her originally assigned us facility, she has earned her FNP and is already in pursuit of her doctorate. Her personal achievements have not lagged behind. During her US journey she purchased a new car, got married to the love of her life, adopted new pets, and acquired her family's forever home! All the while exploring much of the United States.Marylie, is exceptional, but she is not uncommon. We hear similar stories of great success from PassportUSA current employees and alumni each week. This is one of the many reasons why administrative employees are so proud to call PassportUSA their employer and why our clients are such great supporters of our efforts. We'll continue to share great stories of the American Dream with you.
