"Even though it has taken 1.5 years from signing the contract with PassportUSA to touching American soil, it doesn't seem like it has taken very long at all to get to the USA! There have been a few hiccups along the way, but nothing that PassportUSA has not been able to handle. They have been helpful and professional all the way through the process. Julia and Emma have especially been so helpful over the last year and a half; even when I was working as an RN and traveling around Australia. They were always available to talk and assist me through the process. I have had such a positive experience with PassportUSA and I am excited to start this next chapter.I am thankful for the many provisions by God and answers to prayer. It has taken a lot to get to this point, but now I am living the 'American Dream' and I am finally stateside. It is a huge blessing to be here as I am now living in the same country as my significant other (who is American) and he and I can finally make long-term plans for our future. He has been very supportive along with my parents in making this dream a reality.I would encourage anyone interested in pursuing the same dream of living in America as a healthcare professional to not give up and keep going. It is totally worth it. You are about to change your life. It is going to take hard work and probably some tears. But when you have a passion for caring and the ambition and drive to accomplish your dreams, PassportUSA is ready to bring you not just one step closer, but all the way to achieving your goals and fulfilling your calling in the USA.My prayer today is to take the scripture verse I learned in nursing school and continue to live it out in my American nursing career: 'And of some having compassion, making a difference.'
