Alrace is one of our wonderful RNs currently assigned in Iowa. She is from the Philippines and has been in the healthcare field for 12 years and with PassportUSA for over 1 year!Alrace was nominated for RN of the Month by the facility's Inpatient Director: "Alrace is an exemplary nurse. She has a mannerism about her that sets her above other nursing staff. She is a professional that provides quality nursing to all of the patients that she takes care of. She has received several comments from patients regarding her personalized care and compassion. Alrace always has a smile and wonderful attitude--never have I seen or heard that she has an issue with her attitude. She is the first one to say "good morning" when I walk in the door which starts my day off right. Staff absolutely love working with Alrace---she is a great team player, always willing to jump in and assist where/when she is needed. is willing to change up shifts if needed and has come in and worked extra as asked to. When she first joined our facility, she was very flexible in her orientation/training schedule."Learn a little more about PassportUSA's award-winning RN, Alrace, by reading her responses below! What drew you to Health Carousel? Since Health Carousel was in the business for several years already and has a good reputation, I decided to go with them so that they can help me achieve my American dream."What do you like most about working with our client? "I like working at my facility because I really feel welcomed and valued. All of the staff including the administrators are very understanding, encouraging, and supportive to me while I transitioned as a new US nurse and when I transferred from a Labor and Delivery nurse to a MedSurg nurse. Everyone has been great and has been a team players."What do you like to do outside of work? "My husband and I love traveling, exploring places and trying new foods. Staying at home and binge watching TV is the most relaxing thing I usually do when I'm off work."What is your favorite American food? "I love pizza and baby back ribs! We are still looking for the best out there!"What do you love most about being a RN? "I love being a RN because it's a fulfilling career that makes you express your care and kindness even to people you don't know. I believe empathy is a trait that correlates with nurses. Also in nursing, you have diverse career opportunities that you can't only find in a hospital setting, because you could be a nurse in other settings like home health, skilled nursing facilities, and much more."Tell us something unique about you! "I have been to 10 states so far and one of the items on our bucket list is to tour the 50 states in the coming years."What is your favorite quote?
