Clarice is always willing to help her team by helping to start IV's, picking up shifts, asking others how she may help them, and always being team-oriented. Clarice always seems excited to be here and be a part of our team, she joins in on unit team building exercises and compliments her peers on their successes. Clarice is a true leader and is assisting us with our Scope of Practice, unit processes, and evidenced based care of our tiniest patients. We would be lost without her as she helps us succeed every day."Learn a little more about PassportUSA's award-winning RN, Clarice,by reading her responses below! What drew you to Health Carousel? "I am a goal-oriented person and I have always wanted to be an RN here in the US. Back then, I was struggling to find the instrument that would make this dream come true. I am so blessed to be a part of Health Carousel/PassportUSA, the company that made all these dreams possible, fast and easy."What do you like most about working with our client?"The Nurse Director and my coworkers. I'm pretty sure everyone would agree that a perfect workplace doesn't exist especially in our profession, but what keeps us going are the people you work with. Our Director is the best manager I've ever had in my years of experience. Nurse empowerment and patient satisfaction are just few of the things she does best. My coworkers always got my back no matter what the situation is. It's just nice to be surrounded by people who lift each other up."What do you like to do outside of work? "On my days off, you would find me at home cooking for my friends or on a road trip. Long driving is one of the things I love doing here in the US. There's just so much to see and experience."What is your favorite American food?"Mushroom burgers and fries!"What do you love most about being a RN?"It's the experience. Being a RN, I would say, is one thing that I will never regret doing. The way this profession changes a person's perspective in so many aspects is just amazing. In the NICU, it feels good whenever I do well in starting an IV or resuscitating a baby. But over the years, I realize that it's not the skills that matter. What I actually love the most is that I get to do a lot of things that make a difference in other people's lives like staying with the parents when their hearts are breaking during the scariest moment of their lives, letting them hold their little rock star for the first time, or celebrating their growing preemie's first ounce of milk or first weight gain. I could spend all day talking about how fulfilling it is to be a NICU nurse. I just love helping these tiny human beings, who have a huge will to live, to survive. So who wouldn't fall in love with this job if you get to see little miracles happen everyday?"What is your favorite quote?"Keep your eyes on the stars and your feet on the ground."If you are not a current PassportUSA employee, simply register with us today and we'll get your journey to the USA underway!
