Even now, their never-ending support has guided me every step of the way in adapting to this new environment. Ashley is an amazing PassportUSA International Employee Supervisor. Health Carousel has been a blessing for me and my family. They paved the way so I can achieve this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work and live in greener pastures and it has helped me grow not just professionally but personally as well."What do you like most about working with our client? "The work environment fosters spectacular teamwork and a culture of collaboration. My supervisors and peers were great mentors in teaching me not just the knowledge and skills but the attitude of compassion to our patients. Working in my healthcare facility continues to bring out the best of me."What do you like to do outside of work? "Being a nature lover and assigned to a state filled with magnificent views, I like to go out hiking and walking in mountain trails during my free time to enjoy what this place has to offer. I also spend time walking by the beach and going on sea trips to witness the rich marine life like whales, seals, and otters. This is my form of rest and relaxation by connecting with Mother Nature."What do you love most about being an RN? "What I love most about being an RN is being "there" with your patients not just in providing physiologic care but also for psychological and emotional support especially during this time of the pandemic. It is providing holistic care. For me, being a nurse is not just a profession but also a calling."What is your favorite American food? "When I came to the U.S., tuna melts and clam chowder have become my favorite food here."Have you received any awards or recognitions from the client facility? "Yes, our management and our performance improvement department have sent me thank you cards and gift cards as tokens of appreciation for helping them out during surveys, accreditation, and staff education. These are posted in the PassportUSA blog."Tell us something unique about you! "Right now, my husband and I are expecting our first baby. We are excited to be blessed with our future bundle of joy and celebrate milestones as first-time parents. When it comes to hobbies, I like growing indoor plants at home and helping out with church activities in the community. I also love traveling to places where I have never been to before. I have a big bunch of relatives and close family friends around the U.S. and they are in different states. I hope to visit and catch up with them someday."What's your favorite quote? "I live by this saying; 'Fulfillment does not only mean achieving your highest dreams in life but also living a life that has made the lives of others worth living.'"

Edjochris is a Physical Therapist who is from the Philippines and is currently assigned in Washington. He has been working in the healthcare field for 7 years and has been working with PassportUSA for over 2 years!

Edjochris was nominated for Allied Employee of the Month by the Clinical Director:

"Edjo has really grown as a team member since I have started as the CD this last year. He has taken to my coaching in a positive manner and I have seen an improvement in his documentation, and flexibility. When I do chart reviews he is one of the few team members that adheres to the expectations. Edjo paints a picture of the patients for admit visits and evaluations, completes his start of care calls, and keeps good communication with the team. We are lucky to have him as part of the team."

"It has always been a dream of mine to become financially independent so working abroad has always been a priority. I have had a lot of colleagues recommend Health Carousel because of their reputation for managing healthcare professionals that seek challenging opportunities in foreign countries. For the past two years, the company has never let me down. They were able to coach me on how to approach situations outside of my comfort zone, which made me a better clinician."What do you like most about working with our client? "It is always a different day. I work in home health so things change fast and progress may/ may not happen due to external factors. With that being said, I really do not prosper in a controlled environment so the job of working with each client without any specific routine helps me resolve and customize their plan of care, specifically catering to what they want to work on. This made me creative on my treatment plans and become resourceful because you have to work on what the client has inside his/ her home. It is also nice to experience how each client lives his/her daily life, getting to know each of them on a more personal level while making sure they are safe enough to navigate inside their home. It also makes me feel like I have one of my hands on the steering wheel, so I get the chance to lead the goals with the client by my side."What do you like to do outside of work? "I like to work out and run at least 6 miles a day to keep myself fit. In my spare time during the weekends, I usually hike with my friends to explore the beauty of the Pacific Northwest."What do you love most about being a PT? "I love working as a Physical Therapist because you can act as a professor that teaches students on how the body works and how we can work on this body, a clinician that administers evidence-based treatment approaches, and an engineer that reinforces and strengthens the body's foundation, all in one."What is your favorite American food? "I love any foods by the chain restaurant, Sonic Drive-In! They are amazing."Have you received any awards or recognitions from the client facility? "Yes, my facility informs me that I do the best patient discharges."Tell us something unique about you! "I can tap dance and can sing at the same time."What's your favorite quote? "Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it is about learning how to dance in the rain."If you are not a current PassportUSA employee, simply apply with us today and we'll get your journey to the USA underway!
