PassportUSA sees her compassion and so do her patients, managers and peers. She is very positive and everybody notices it regularly. She is flexible with her schedule to meet the needs of the unit. Preety has received a lot of praise and we know that her career is only going to blossom even more over time.Preety, it is an honor having you as a part of the PassportUSA family. Congratulations again, and to a job well-done!We asked Preety about her career achievements and this is what she said:What career accomplishments from the past year are you most proud of? "In fall 2019, I was nominated for the facility "Champion of Care" award by fellow employees. The nomination to represent the facility and to attend the biannual Nebraska Nursing Home Facility Convention was my major accomplishment of 2019."What skills have you gained since working with our client so far? "I take each day as a learning process as a 'greater whole' result. I follow an adage that pretty much summarizes my learning experience at this facility: 'To be kind is more important than to be right. Many times, what patients need is not a brilliant mind that speaks but a special heart that listens."What/who motivates you to get your job done? "I am fortunate to have my colleagues and patients who motivate me every week. My colleagues appreciate my effort and input and my patients accept me with love and adoration and continue to do so."What aspects about your workplace makes your job enjoyable? "I have an ethical and dependable nursing team here. They are respectful and dedicated to provide good care to the patients and to their families."What advice would you suggest to other healthcare professionals to succeed in their job here in the U.S.? "I advise others to keep their heads up! Set your heart and eyes on your desired goal. Do not simply dream to succeed. Be prepared because luck happens when preparation meets opportunity! Above all, I believe there are two essential elements: integrity and hard work. These often direct your choices and the course of your life!"We are extremely proud of Preety's accomplishments and dedication in 2019 and we look forward to her success in 2020!If you know someone who is currently working for PassportUSA, you can nominate them to be our next employee-of-the-month.
