Congratulations to Myra, RN, who recently completed the first step in her American Dream with PassportUSA.

I trusted PassportUSA with my American Dream and US journey and they did not disappoint. They were very transparent and offered all the assistance we needed to be able to adjust to our life here easily. They also treated us like family. We felt their genuine concern for us especially when I got sick with Covid twice while I was pregnant in 2020, when I gave birth, when both my parents passed away…they were always there to provide support. I don’t think any other agency can compare to what PassportUSA has done for me and my family.

Myra, RN

While on assignment in Iowa, Myra had many professional and personal accomplishments:

  • She became a Board Certified Medical Surgical Nurse
  • She was nominated for the DAISY Award for 3 years in a row
  • She was awarded Employee of the Month (nominated by her manager)
  • She was also awarded the All-Star Award from PassportUSA
  • AND she welcomed her third child, Pablo!

I always say this…PassportUSA changed our lives for the better. I was able to bring my family with me, thereby providing opportunities for my children I would never have been able to do had I not signed up with PassportUSA.

After completing her 3+ years with PassportUSA, Myra reached out to our SVP of International Operations, Katie Glaser, to reiterate how grateful she is for PassportUSA's support in her US journey:

1) We have become Permanent Residents here in the US because of your assistance.  This is one of the most important things I will forever be grateful for as it paved the way for me and my family to have endless opportunities here, especially for my children.
2) I was able to gain new friends, gain more experiences in the workplace thereby learning a lot more and growing more as a nurse.  I was also able to level up as a nurse by getting my Medical Surgical Board Certification from the ANCC.
3) Through the Arrival Ambassador Program, I was able to fulfill the promise I made to myself when I got here…that is to give back and be grateful for all the blessings I have so far received and continue to receive all because PassportUSA was there to help me achieve my American Dream.
I hope that in some way, you and the whole team, realize how instrumental you all are in changing people’s lives for the better.  It may not be said enough as it should be but I hope you all know how very much thankful and grateful I am that I signed up with PassportUSA.

We are beyond grateful for you, Myra! Congratulations again on achieving your American Dream! We wish you and your family the best of luck as you continue to navigate your U.S. nursing career.
