The district also includes Hobbs Freshman High School, a 9th-grade campus that lets students make the important transition from middle school to high school fully-prepared for all that will bring. Students at Hobbs Freshman High School have the opportunity to do Pre-Advanced Placement courses before entering AP and prepare for the academic challenges that come with AP courses. The local high school, Hobbs High School, has one of the highest graduation rates in the state of New Mexico. Hobbs Municipal Schools has invested heavily in the success of their students at a price of $125 million to ensure campuses are renovated, safe and up to academic standards.
