The district features 2 National Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence, and Jefferson City High is ranked 140th in Missouri by U.S. News and World Report’s Best U.S. High Schools.  Offering an innovative program known as Academies, students at Jefferson City High School can choose an academy, a program of study with courses concentrated around a certain subject.
