The entertainment scene is strong as Lewisburg is home to Bucknell University, a well-known liberal arts college. The university offers a 24-show performance calendar packed with music, theatre, family shows, and dance from August to April. Bucknell also has a 1941-era movie theatre, the Capitol Theatre, for new and classic movies. RiverStage Community Theatre, which presents a 5-show season each year, fills it schedule with family-friendly picks.
