About an hour away is the Palouse Falls State Park, a 105-acre property with a breathtaking waterfall measuring nearly 200 feet. Paddle and canoe near the end of the waterfall, or simply swim in the water. Hiking will let you enjoy unimaginable views plus an assortment of wildflowers and even a few species of wildlife. In the winter, the waterfall might freeze up, which makes a cool sight for a picture or a two. The park also includes a walking trail and interpretive trail with facts about the land.
