Meet the People of PassportUSA: Liz

When you team up with PassportUSA, you partner with the best.

Your decision to pursue your dream of a healthcare career in the United States is the only step you’ll take alone. All international healthcare professionals who begin their dream of immigrating to the United States will be assisted by no fewer than five dedicated teams at PassportUSA. We are there every step of the way.

Meet Liz Brenes Garcia, Manager of Arrivals at PassportUSA. She has worked for PassportUSA for over 4 years and leads the Arrival Coordinators who ensures every candidate has a smooth transition into the United States.

The Arrival Coordinator assists in several activities, including but not limited to: opening a bank account, completing a drug screen and other credentialing items, picking up transportation (if applicable), applying for a Social Security number, completing new hire paperwork, reviewing policies and procedures, setting up apartment viewings, completing a mini-driving orientation, grocery shopping, driving by the client facility, exploring your new community, etc.! In some cases, our Arrival Coordinator will also introduce you to other local PassportUSA RNs who work and live in the area.

Liz has been on 89 arrivals across the United States with PassportUSA.

Her favorite aspect of her job is meeting healthcare professionals from all over the world that have the bravery, courage, and guts to come and challenge their practice and provide care for the people of the USA.

"The journey may be bumpy at times but know that we always have a driven and dedicated team who are working hard behind the scenes to make sure you arrive safely and to support you throughout your career with PassportUSA."

A fun fact about Liz- she lived in Spain for 5 years, met her husband there and just welcomed her first son into the world earlier this year.
