The high school is one of the highest-rated in the state and scores among the top 10% of schools in Maine on standardized tests. A graduation rate of over 90% sees nearly 70% of high school graduates going on to college. Camden Hills has been recognized for its excellence in athletics and extracurriculars with exceptional facilities for each. U.S. News and World Report’s Best U.S. High Schools named the high school the 7th best in the state and among the top 1,500 schools in the country.
