The educational system in Denton is provided by Denton Independent School District (DISD) which contains 23 elementary schools, 8 middle schools and 6 high schools, including a state-of-the-art technology school. DISD offers a low student-teacher ratio of 14 to 1, remarkable given the size of the district.
