Rosalie is one of our wonderful RNs currently assigned in Indiana. She is from the Philippines and has been in the healthcare field for 7 years and with PassportUSA for 1 year! Rosalie was nominated for RN of the Month by her nurse manager: "Rosalie always provides our patients with exceptional patient care. An example of how she put her patient's needs first is that she recognized within 3-4 hours of her shift that a newly admitted patient had not voided. She completed a bladder scan per policy and found the patient was retaining a large volume of urine. She immediately contacted the physician to obtain orders before risking the patient being found to retain even a larger volume of urine. Rosalie always maintains a positive attitude even when faced with new tasks and goals. I recently approached her about her interest in training for charge nurse and she was very interested in the responsibility. She even impressed the person who provided her orientation on the charge nurse role/tasks. She stated Rosalie had very good questions that she may not have even thought to teach her unless the occasion arouse. She also said that Rosalie took very detailed notes and Rosalie mentioned she studied over the notes before she was assigned the responsibility of doing the charge nurse role even with a preceptor. Rosalie definitely went above and beyond for the training of her charge nurse role. Rosalie also has very good critical thinking which helps her be an asset to the team. AmandaLearn a little more about PassportUSA's award-winning RN, Rosalie by reading her responses below! What drew you to Health Carousel?
